Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU)

Dr. C.V. Raman University was established in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh in 2006 as Central India’s first private university. The University has incorporated skills-based learning within its course curriculum in order to generate a new cadre of skilled professionals who are work ready from day one. The University is also offering a range of distance learning UG, PG and Diploma courses through its Institute of Open and Distance Education. CVRU has launched ‘Radio Raman’ as India’s first university run community radio station and is now planning to establish a ‘Research Park’ within its campus.

Through social media we are able to reach out to audience who is looking for a distance learning course from across the country. It also serves as a platform where the student community comes together and showcases the achievements of the university collectively.
